He holds ISC2 SSCP certification, aligns with NIST frameworks, and is a Google Certified Cybersecurity Professional and Project Manager. He leads strategy, client engagement, and project governance across PlankSec and Red Threat Cyber Security (RTCS), ensuring technical delivery aligns with business outcomes, compliance requirements, and long-term operational resilience.
Mel is an AI and cybersecurity researcher based in Austria, with over 7 years of hands-on industry experience spanning offensive security, secure systems engineering, and infrastructure architecture. He leads PlankSec’s technical strategy, cybersecurity research, and platform engineering, overseeing the design and execution of scalable, security-first systems.
